The Pwee Foundation worked closely with Junior Achievement Singapore to deliver two programs: Success Skills and JA-HP Social Innovation Relay.
JA ran the Social Skills program at APSN Delta School, teaching special needs students life skills such as teamwork, resume building and thinking about a dream job. Mr Benjamin Pwee, Ms Amanda Ammann and Ms Anna Jos from the Foundation helped to conduct this program.
The JA-HP Social Innovation Relay is a social innovation competition conducted by JA and Hewlett-Packard for students in between the ages of 15 to18. Participants are tasked with developing social enterprise ideas. The best teams are given mentoring and encouraged to implement these ideas. In the first round of the Relay, the Pwee Foundation selected 12 teams among 20 shortlisted candidates. 6 of those teams are keen on executing their social enterprise ideas, and are currently being mentored by the Pwee Foundation.
